Korça Protected Areas Management Committee concluded today all the points of discussion for which the visions, problems, achievements and opinions of all present were shared.
The General Director of the National Agency of Protected Areas, Mrs. Daniel Pirushi, Prefect of Korçë District Mr. Nertil Jole, AdZM Korçë, as well as all the participants put emphasis on the need to draw up Management Plans for some of the protected areas in the Korçë District; the problems and improvement of the good management of the Ohrid-Prespa Cross-Border Biosphere Reserve, which includes 7 protected areas in the cross-border region, and also introduced the innovations brought by the amendment of the Law on Protected Areas, as well as the obligations arising from its implementation .
